Menla Approach
The Menla approach is rooted in Tibetan and Indian wisdom about the nature of sickness and health. It is a thorough process of emotional and cognitive learning for health professionals and regular caregivers. Its goal and focus are to provide a safe and intense environment for personal development with a fresh chance to re-assess our relation towards our health profession, to improve skills in working with our mind, feelings, and perceptions, to regain heart in our everyday work, and to prevent burn-out.
Everyone wants to
“Be Well,”
But what does that really mean, and how do we do it?
Menla Holistic Health had developed a number of educational programs designed to teach people about self-care. We offer interactive lectures, workshops and seminars that can be tailored to the needs of your members or audience. We’re happy to present at your school, library, organization, community group, clinic, or other setting. Our trainings are suitable for people engaged in healing and caring professions, as well as persons who care for chronically ill people; in particular for those people who engage in their profession with all their heart and have the tendency to overexert themselves and burn out.
Our Trainings and Workshops
There has been growing concern about work stress and its impact on health care professionals. Our workshops are designed to provide the tools and education needed for individuals to experience a greater sense of well being by enhancing their own natural energy resources. Health care professionals can perform nurturing activities without depleting their own energy by learning to maintain and balance emotional, mental and spiritual reserve. In these one and half hour classes, participants will learn the art of mindful meditation, creative visualization, listening skills, breath work, and the mind/ body/spirit dynamics that will assist them to better utilize their energy from a place of personal experience. Participants will learn how to deal with time and energy management, aggressive behavior and other emotional circumstances while maintaining a calm, focused approach evolving from a centered, heartfelt space.
I recommend Malou's counseling services and the OnDamed energy healing for anyone in need of support.
